Terms of Service — SnagReel

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SnagReel website and video downloading service (the "Service") operated by SnagReel ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using SnagReel, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

SnagReel provides a web-based tool that allows users to download publicly accessible video content from supported third-party platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, and Facebook. The Service processes video URLs submitted by users and returns download links to publicly available video files hosted on those platforms' content delivery networks (CDNs).

SnagReel does not host any video content on its own servers. All downloaded content is served directly from the respective platform's CDN infrastructure.

3. Permitted Use

The Service is provided exclusively for the following permitted uses:

Downloading video content for personal, non-commercial, offline viewing
Downloading content that you own or have explicit written permission to download
Downloading content licensed under Creative Commons or other open licenses that explicitly permit downloading and offline use
Educational or research purposes consistent with fair use doctrine in your jurisdiction

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use the Service for any of the following:

Downloading copyrighted content for redistribution, re-uploading, or public performance without the copyright holder's permission
Downloading content for commercial purposes, including resale, monetized re-uploads, or use in commercial productions
Downloading private, age-restricted, or access-controlled content by circumventing platform authentication
Using the Service in any manner that violates applicable local, national, or international law
Automated or bot-based mass downloading that places excessive load on our servers or target platforms
Using the Service to download content from platforms that have explicitly blocked our tool's access
Interfering with, disrupting, or reverse-engineering the Service
Using the Service to infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Downloaded Content

All video content you download through SnagReel remains the intellectual property of its original creators and platform owners. Downloading a video does not transfer any ownership rights to you. You are responsible for ensuring your use of downloaded content complies with applicable copyright laws and the terms of service of the source platform.

5.2 SnagReel Content

The SnagReel website, including its design, code, text, and graphics, is owned by SnagReel and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written consent.

6. Third-Party Platforms

SnagReel operates independently of and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube (Google LLC), TikTok (ByteDance Ltd.), Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.), Twitter/X (X Corp.), or Facebook (Meta Platforms, Inc.). Each of these platforms has its own terms of service that govern the content hosted on their services. By downloading content from these platforms through SnagReel, you agree to also comply with the relevant platform's terms of service.

7. Disclaimers

7.1 Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the Service. Third-party platform API changes, rate limits, or technical issues may affect the Service's functionality at any time without notice.

7.2 No Warranty

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLIPGRAB PRO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT DOWNLOADED CONTENT WILL BE FREE FROM ERRORS OR VIRUSES.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CLIPGRAB PRO AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LEGAL CONSEQUENCES RESULTING FROM YOUR DOWNLOADING AND USE OF CONTENT.
